Award winning pit masters, Rum & Que are quickly becoming a household name in the BBQ world - with their rubs, seasonings and sauces lining the shelves of super markets through the county.
It’s been an absolute joy to work on some really fun and creative packaging designs with with the team and they expand and grow.
Beer inspired rubs
I was given full creative control on this range, and told to “go nuts”. Because the product is so unique it really had to stand out on the shelves and command attention.
We wanted a psychedelic vibe, and rolled that out across all three cans. As someone who often designs more minimalist assets, it was fun to let lose, and pack in a lot in a small space.
The Umami Range
The polar opposite of the beer range, UMAMAI is a more refined product range, and therefore more sophisticated, clean design.
Dirty Bird
Inspired by the greasy checkered paper that lines the baskets your fried chicken comes in, in a classic Southern American diner, Dirty Bird hits the fried chicken spot just right….
Rub Shakers
When you’ve got award winning rubs on your hands, you need to show them off! We took the old rub pouches and updated the look in new shakers, with a Colour Logic metallic background, and accolades that really catches the eye.
